KENDALL CHISLETT, Gregory John
10 August 2026
The variety is a probable bud mutation of the Washington Navel variety. The fruit matures in the period from December to January. The pulp is distinguished by sweetness and reduced acidity compared to other varieties in the group. The fruit is capable of remaining on the tree for a long time after reaching maturity.
The plant has a compact or dense crown; the shoots are thornless or have them in small quantities. The leaves have wing-like appendages at the petioles characteristic of citrus. The initial clone underwent virus cleaning using the micro-grafting method.
