ActiveCitrus sinensis (L.) Osbeck · Sweet orange
KENDALL CHISLETT, Gregory John
10 August 2026
The variety is a medium-sized tree that remains compact when grown in containers. Fruits have a slightly oval shape and an average weight of 100–180 g. The peel is of medium thickness, soft, easy to peel, and colored orange with a possible red blush.
The pulp of the fruits is very juicy, sweet, with a harmonious acidity, and contains practically no seeds. The intensity of red pigmentation depends on temperature fluctuations between day and night during the growing process. The fruits are suitable for fresh consumption and juice production, and have good post-harvest storage properties.
