The Moro SG variety is a type of orange, where the SG prefix indicates the status of a certified clone that has undergone selection and sanitary control procedures. The tree is medium-sized, with a dense rounded or spherical crown and leathery dark green leaves.

The fruit, weighing 170–210 g, has an orange peel with a red or crimson blush. The flesh is colored in saturated ruby or almost black tones due to a high content of anthocyanins. The taste is sweet, with acidity and raspberry notes.

It belongs to the early varieties of blood oranges; the fruit ripens from February to April. The plant has low frost resistance, withstanding temperature drops down to –6 °C, and under home cultivation conditions, it is sensitive to pests and requires strict adherence to a feeding regimen.
