The variety is a mutation of the Navel group, identified as the Navel Washington CRC 3033 mutation. The fruits have a dark chocolate, copper, or brown peel color when fully ripe, while the flesh remains dark orange. The taste of the fruits is rated as very sweet with a low level of acidity.

The plant has good vigor, forming a compact spherical crown; small thorns may be present on the shoots. In container cultivation, it reaches a height of 60 to 250 cm. Harvesting usually falls within the period from December to February, sometimes extending until May.

The variety is light-loving and requires temperatures no lower than +5–8°C, while the optimal development regime is +15–18°C. The fruits are used fresh, for juices, and in cooking, and the plant is often grown for ornamental purposes in greenhouses and winter gardens.
