The variety belongs to the group of navel oranges. Plants of this variety demonstrate good adaptability when grown on Swingle citrumelo rootstock.

Scientific research has recorded a high content of hesperidin in the leaves of this variety. Methods for stimulating fruit set in these plants using brassinolide have also been studied.
