The variety belongs to the group of pigmented oranges that originated from spontaneous bud mutations. The fruits are round in shape, medium in size, and often contain few seeds or are seedless. The peel is of medium thickness, smooth or slightly bumpy, and separates easily when fully ripe.

The intensity of the red coloration of the pulp and peel depends directly on the diurnal temperature fluctuations in the winter period. The taste qualities are distinguished by a balance of sweetness and acidity. Trees of this variety are prone to branch lodging under the weight of the fruits. The variety is suitable for fresh consumption and juice production.

Harvesting takes place from December to March, with the peak fruit quality achieved in January-February.
