The variety is a spontaneous bud mutation discovered in Italy. The fruits are characterized by juicy pulp and a sweet taste typical of the entire Tarocco group. A unique feature of this clone is an accelerated process of anthocyanin accumulation compared to other representatives of the group.

The variety is intended for fresh consumption, culinary use, and juice production. In scientific literature, the description of the variety is found in studies focused on the genetic characteristics and phylogeny of sweet oranges.
