The SOULTANI KRITIS variety, also known as Soultani Cretan, is officially registered in Greece as an orange variety. Detailed agronomic characteristics of the plant, including growth parameters and disease resistance, are absent from open sources.

Scientific studies of the variety focus on the analysis of its biochemical composition. It has been established that the hesperidin content in the fruits of this variety is significantly lower compared to many other orange varieties studied within the framework of assessing the genetic diversity of local Greek citrus.
