The tree has moderate vigor, an upright canopy with large leaves, and is not prone to cluster fruiting. Fruits mature 2–4 weeks earlier than standard Valencia and are suitable for long-term storage on the tree; they are oval in shape and weigh 180–220 g.

The variety is sensitive to frost, fruit splitting, and copper deficiency, and shows incompatibility with rough lemon rootstock. The fruit rind is tight-fitting and thin, making peeling difficult. The produce is versatile and used both fresh and for the production of juice with low limonin content.
