Variety description

The variety originated from a spontaneous bud mutation discovered in Brazil in the early 19th century. Trees are of moderate size with a rounded, often drooping crown and, under favorable conditions, can reach a height of up to 10 meters.

Fruits are medium to large in size, round in shape, with an orange, slightly rough rind. The flesh is sweet and juicy. The fruits are seedless due to the absence of viable pollen. The variety is considered a winter variety, with the harvest period typically occurring between November and March.

The plant is sensitive to high temperatures during the flowering period, which can reduce fruit set. The variety is intended for fresh consumption, as well as for making juices and desserts.
