The variety is a hybrid of the Clementine mandarin and the Orlando tangelo. The tree is characterized by moderate vigor, has a rounded or spreading canopy with dense foliage and almost complete absence of thorns. The variety is partially self-fertile, therefore, to increase yields, it is recommended to plant other mandarins nearby for cross-pollination.

Fruits are medium-sized, slightly oblate in shape with a thin, deep orange peel, which may be slightly rough and has an average degree of peelability. The flesh is characterized by juiciness and a distinct sweet-and-sour taste. The variety belongs to the early-maturing category; ripening occurs between October and January.

The plant is prone to alternate bearing, where heavy harvests may be followed by less productive years. The variety is well-adapted for cultivation both in the open field and in container culture.
