FAUSTRIME is a vigorous shrub with thorns on the branches and small lanceolate or oval leaves. The fruits have an elongated cylindrical shape and thin skin, which changes color from green to yellowish upon ripening.
The variety is everbearing and capable of flowering and fruiting year-round, starting to bear fruit from the second year of life. The pulp consists of spherical vesicles with a sour taste and a specific aroma resembling lemongrass or kaffir lime.
The plant is suitable for cultivation in containers and greenhouses. The hybrid attracts interest from researchers in the context of tolerance to citrus diseases, including citrus greening.
