The tree is vigorous with long, drooping branches. The variety is characterized by everbearing habit, providing harvests several times a year, primarily from October to February. With proper care, one tree is capable of producing up to 100 kg of fruit.
Fruits weighing over 300 g have an oval, nearly round, or pear-shaped form. The thick, bumpy peel is yellow-orange in color. The variety possesses field tolerance to the disease mal secco, caused by the fungus Plenodomus tracheiphilus, and increased cold hardiness.
