Variety description

The variety was obtained in South Africa by mutagenesis (bud irradiation) of the original Nova hybrid. The tree is not prone to sharp biennial bearing. It shows good performance when using Carrizo and Cleopatra rootstocks.
The fruits are sweet, with a sugar content of 14–16° Brix and a skin that is easy to peel. The harvest period falls between November and the end of January. The fruits are prone to cracking at low temperatures; sensitivity to Alternaria has also been noted in some regions.
