Variety description

The tree has high vigor and a wide canopy; young saplings have medium-sized thorns. The fruits have a flattened shape and an average weight of about 170 g. The thin, fine-grained, dark orange peel is easily separated from the flesh.

The juicy, sweet flesh acquires red pigmentation in the presence of diurnal temperature fluctuations. Due to the triploid set of chromosomes, the variety is sterile and contains practically no seeds, causing no cross-pollination in neighboring citrus trees.

The variety is mid-late; the harvest period in Italy falls in February-April. Agrotechnics include regular pruning and the use of growth regulators to prevent premature fruit drop.
