The plant is characterized by rapid development and forms a wide, often thorny crown. The leaves are large, dark green, and have a pronounced aroma. The root system is characterized by high vigor and resistance to a number of diseases.

The fruits are medium to medium-large in size. A characteristic feature is the intense orange color of the peel and flesh at the full maturity stage. The taste of the fruits is lemony, coarser compared to common lemon; they are used for the preparation of juices, marmalades, and liqueurs, as well as for fresh consumption.
