Variety description

Trees are moderately vigorous with a drooping canopy and oval-rhomboid leaves. Fruits are medium-large, weighing 150–200 g, oblate in shape, with smooth thin orange rind. The flesh is deep orange, very juicy, combines the sweetness of a mandarin and the aroma of an orange, and contains 11–12° Brix of sugar and about 1% acid. In the absence of cross-pollination, fruits are predominantly seedless.
The variety is mid-late to late, with ripening occurring in late winter or spring. The plant possesses cold hardiness on par with Unshiu mandarin and is resistant to scab and citrus canker. A characteristic feature is a tendency towards alternate bearing. The fruits are intended for fresh consumption and processing into juice.
