The tree is vigorous with an upright growth habit and a moderately dense canopy; shoots may be thorny. The variety is prone to alternate bearing but is noted for its high resistance to Alternaria leaf spot.

Fruits are medium-sized, oblate-spheroidal in shape, weighing 98–140 g. The thin, smooth, bright orange rind separates easily from the juicy and tender flesh, which has a sugar content of 13.9–17° Brix.

Harvesting takes place between January and May. The fruits have good keeping quality and can remain on the tree for a long time without losing quality; the variety is practically seedless.
