The Palazzelli tree is characterized by vigorous growth, forming a dense spreading crown with rare thorns on the branches. Leaves are lanceolate, similar in shape to clementine leaves, and have a characteristic forked tip.
Fruits are oval-shaped, medium to large in size, weighing 110–120 g. The peel is coarsely wrinkled and easily separates from the flesh. The flesh is juicy, sweet, with flavor notes of clementine and orange, and contains a large number of seeds.
The variety is late-maturing; fruit ripening occurs from February to June. Trees demonstrate high yield but are sensitive to low temperatures. Fruits have good keeping quality, however, due to the presence of seeds, they have limited export potential.
