The variety is the result of a breeding program for the development of triploid citrus hybrids. The fruits have an average size of 60–70 mm, a juice content of about 45%, an acidity of about 16 g/l, and a sugar content of 14º Brix.
The harvest period falls between February–March. The plant shows resistance to Alternaria. The fruits are sensitive to peel damage at low temperatures, therefore storage at 1 °C is not recommended for longer than 15 days.
