The variety is a hybrid obtained by crossing Duncan grapefruit and Dancy mandarin. The tree is characterized by moderate growth vigor, and its leaves have a characteristic cup-like shape. The fruits are medium to large in size, almost round or slightly flattened, without a pronounced neck.
The peel of the fruit is thin, orange, and adheres tightly to the flesh. The flesh is juicy and sweet; the number of seeds depends directly on pollination conditions. The variety is considered one of the most cold-hardy among tangelos. The flowers are self-incompatible, therefore pollinator varieties are necessary for crop formation.

Green indicates countries where the variety is listed in the national catalogue and its seeds are authorized for sale. Expired registrations are marked separately: the variety was previously admitted, but sale is no longer permitted.
