Variety description

The vine reaches a height of 2–3, rarely up to 4 meters. The intense golden-yellow flowers are 3–6 cm in diameter, initially bell-shaped, and then open wide. A characteristic feature is the dark purple or violet stamens. The leaves are pinnate and have a light green mint hue. After flowering, silvery fluffy seed heads form, which remain on the plant until autumn and winter.

The variety belongs to pruning group 3 as it blooms on current-year shoots, so hard pruning to a height of about 1 meter is recommended in late winter or early spring. The plant has high winter hardiness and is resistant to diseases, in particular to wilt. Due to its climbing shoots, the variety requires support in the form of trellises, gazebos, or arches, and is also suitable for growing in containers.
