The cultivar is a hybrid between Cordyline obtecta and Cordyline australis, combining dense leaf texture and high adaptability to various conditions. The plant is evergreen, with unusually broad and short sword-shaped leaves that become denser as it grows.
The height of a ten-year-old plant reaches about 3 meters, though when grown in containers, the size is usually 1.5–2 meters. During the flowering period, the cultivar forms inflorescences of small white or lilac flowers with a distinct honey aroma.
The plant is resistant to wind and sea spray, exhibits moderate drought tolerance, and withstands temperature drops down to -5...-6 °C. The cultivar is sought after in landscape design as an accent plant for creating a tropical effect and for use in mixed plantings or as a specimen plant.
