The plant has an upright stem and may branch with age, forming several leaf rosettes. The leaves are curved and retain their bright color when grown in full sun or partial shade. In late spring or summer, it produces large paniculate inflorescences with small fragrant white flowers.
The height of the plant varies, as it can remain compact (up to 1.2–1.8 m) or reach the size of the parent variety, exceeding 6 meters. The variety is relatively drought-tolerant after establishment and requires well-drained soils.
