The plant reaches a height of 60–75 cm. The leaves are linear-lanceolate, having a green leaf blade with cream-white edges that transition into pink tones closer to the base and are intensely red at the stem. From June to July, the variety forms paniculate inflorescences with small cream-white flowers.
The variety features a sturdy vertical stem. Frost resistance is limited, withstanding temperature drops down to –5...–7 °C; therefore, in cold climates, it is recommended to keep it in containers with overwintering in a protected location.
