The plant has a characteristic variegated foliage, which is marked by a wide red central stripe and green margins. The leaf coloration may vary depending on lighting conditions.

The variety is moderately frost-hardy, withstanding temperature drops down to -5°C, and also possesses wind resistance and tolerance to salt spray. The plant is intended for landscape design, container gardening, and indoor floriculture.
