The Norfire variety, also known under the trade name Firecracker, is a decorative plant for landscape design and landscaping. The plant forms a dense bush of rounded shape.
The foliage is characterized by numerous leaves, which differ from the species characteristics of Cordyline australis in shorter length and width. A key feature of the coloration is the brown-purple color of the leaf blades.
