The shrub reaches a height of 3–5 meters. The leaves have a reddish hue, most pronounced in spring, while the apical leaves often retain a burgundy tone until autumn. The variety is mid-early, with harvest lasting from mid-August to early October.
The nuts are small, weighing about 2 g, with good taste qualities and a thin shell. Yield is up to 8 kg per shrub. The variety is winter-hardy, withstanding temperature drops down to -30°C.
