The variety forms vigorous bushes or trees with an upright growth habit and a flattened crown, and produces many root suckers. Flowering is mid-early, the variety is self-incompatible; the Tonda di Giffoni variety is recommended for pollination.
The fruits are round, medium-sized with a weight of 2.5–2.7 g, and have a thin light-colored shell. The kernel yield is about 45%, and ripening occurs in early September. The variety is prone to alternate bearing.
The variety is in demand in the confectionery industry due to the quality and taste of its nuts. It has good general adaptability; it is important not to confuse it with the Rimski okrugli variety.
