Variety description

10 August 2026

The bush is medium-sized and spreading. The variety is early-maturing, with the ripening period occurring in early September. A characteristic feature is that the fruits fall completely out of the green husk upon ripening.

The nuts are round in shape and 14–18 mm in caliber. The shell is thin, chestnut-colored, with light longitudinal stripes. The kernel yield is 44–47%; the kernel is round, covered with a thin skin that is difficult to remove by roasting.

The variety possesses high pest resistance, specifically showing almost no susceptibility to hazelnut bud mite. It is frequently used in orchards as a pollinator variety for commercial hazelnut varieties.
