The shrub reaches a height of 5 to 7 meters and has a wide, spreading, multi-stemmed crown. The leaves are round or oval, medium-sized, and turn a golden-yellow or orange-yellow shade in autumn. The variety is suitable for culinary use and fresh consumption, as well as for decorative landscaping.
The fruits are large, oval or obovate in shape, light brown in color, with a weight of about 4–5 grams. The crop matures in late September – early October. The plant begins to bear fruit abundantly from the 6th year of life, possesses good winter hardiness and resistance to diseases, including the hazelnut gall mite.
The variety is self-infertile or partially self-fertile. To ensure stable yields, it is necessary to plant pollinator varieties at a distance of no more than 4–5 meters. The plant is shade-tolerant and tolerates pruning well, by which the height can be maintained at the level of 3 meters.
