Variety description

10 August 2026

The plant has a multi-stemmed crown. Large leaves are dark burgundy or purple-red in the spring, turn green by the end of summer, and acquire orange-red tones in the autumn. Flowering occurs early, in February–March, before leaf emergence; female flowers are distinguished by bright red stigmas.

The variety is mid-late; commercial maturity of the nuts occurs in September. Fruits weighing 3–4 grams have a thin shell, and the kernels separate well. The crop is winter-hardy, resistant to diseases, and tolerates pruning well. Used in landscape design as a solitaire plant or an element of hedges.
