Variety description

10 August 2026

The Bonsai variety belongs to the group of dwarf turf-type tall fescues. The plant is characterized by a lower habitus and a dense shoot structure compared to forage varieties. The grass possesses dark green leaves with a finer texture.

The variety is valued for its slowed regrowth after mowing and high wear tolerance when used on playgrounds, in parks, and on private lawns. The plant is capable of tolerating both full sun and light shading.

Bonsai demonstrates increased resistance to drought and high temperatures compared to a number of other turf grasses, and also possesses immunity to a range of specific warm-season diseases.
