The plant is an evergreen ornamental grass forming dense tussocks. The height of the leaf mass is 30–45 cm; including flower stalks, the plant reaches 60–90 cm. A characteristic feature is flowering in mid-spring with bright yellow spikelets that contrast with the dark foliage.
The variety has high winter hardiness, withstanding temperature drops down to -35...-40 °C (USDA zone 3a). The crop is distinguished by drought tolerance, tolerates heat and humidity, possesses a developed root system, and has improved disease resistance.
It is used exclusively in landscape design for creating borders, mass plantings, rock garden decoration, xeriscaping, and container gardening.
The right is granted for a limited term: propagation of the variety requires a license from the rights holder.
