The Traverse 2 variety belongs to the lawn-type varieties of tall fescue. Its key feature is the ability to form underground shoots, or rhizomes, which provides a self-repairing effect for the turf.
The plant is characterized by thin leaves, a deep green color, and forms a dense, compact lawn. The variety is distinguished by high stress tolerance under intensive trampling, drought tolerance, and resistance to brown patch caused by fungi of the genus Rhizoctonia.
Traverse 2 is intended for the creation of high-quality lawns and is used in the landscaping of sports facilities, parks, and areas with high operational load, as well as by professional producers of sod rolls.
