The plant is characterized by abundant leafiness with numerous narrow, smooth, bright green leaves and medium-length stems. One of the anatomical features of the variety is the presence of strong anthocyanin coloration of the leaf sheath.
The variety is characterized by a high heading rate and intensive sward formation, entering dormancy at the end of October. The plants possess high disease resistance, and the seeds of the variety have a low tendency to shatter.
Nawojka is used as a component of grass mixtures, possessing good compositional value. The possibility of using this variety as a living mulch is also noted.
