Variety description

10 August 2026

The variety belongs to the ryegrass type, combining genetic traits of ryegrass and fescue. The plants have medium to tall height at heading and an intermediate or semi-prostrate growth habit. Leaves are medium-sized, and the variety has strong tillering ability and forms a dense stand.

The plant is characterized by rapid spring growth and the ability for swift regrowth after mowing. The variety shows good resistance to diseases and lodging, and surpasses ryegrasses in drought tolerance.

The variety is high-yielding, providing a high dry matter yield and a protein content in the range of 15–18%. It is used as a forage crop for establishing seeded meadows, harvesting hay and haylage, as well as for intensive use in pasture mixtures.
