The variety has low growth vigor. The plant's leaves consist of 1–3 lobes. Fruits of the Bordissot Negra Rimada variety are distinguished by their striped coloration: green-yellow stripes are replaced by violet-burgundy or black tones as they ripen. The average fruit weight is 30–40 g.

The fruit pulp has a dark red color, a juicy consistency, and a sweet taste with berry notes and a slight acidity. The variety is self-fertile. Upon full ripening, the fruits may crack in rainy weather, and the plant itself may exhibit difficulties in propagation by cuttings.
