Plattner Anton
10 August 2026
The variety is autochthonous to Slovenia and is widespread in the Muggia Peninsula and Ankaran area. In literature, it may be mentioned as a synonym for the variety "Miljska figa" (or "Mujžanka", "Mivšca").
The tree forms 3–7-lobed leaves, the main segment of which is broad and spatulate. Fruits have a flattened, rounded shape at the peduncle. The fruit skin is thin (about 1 mm), dark violet, and easily peels off. The flesh is juicy and possesses a distinct aroma.
The variety has high resistance to low temperatures. The ostiole ("eye") is medium-wide, and the fruits are not prone to internal fermentation.
