Variety description

Tree of medium height, semi-upright, with sparse branching density and pendulous branches. The variety produces two harvests per season: an early breba crop and a main crop that matures from the first week of August until the end of September.
Fruits have an elongated pear shape and thin, firm skin of dark purple or almost black color. The dense honey-like flesh varies from a red to strawberry-red hue. The fruits are transportable and suitable for use in fresh form, drying, and the preparation of jams.
The variety is adapted to rain-fed farming conditions, although it fruits significantly better with regular irrigation. It requires a warm, sunny climate, as there is a risk of fruit cracking during high humidity or rain in the ripening period.
