The variety has synonyms Croisic, Cordelia, Gillette, and St. John. Due to the lack of a single standard, plants with differing fruit characteristics may be distributed under this name. The fruit skin is usually yellow or greenish-yellow in color, the pulp is golden or amber. A feature of the variety is the resistance of the fruit skin to cracking during precipitation.

The plant is characterized by good productivity in limited soil volume, reaching a height of about 1.8–2 meters in container cultivation. The fruits are versatile in use: suitable for fresh consumption, canning, making jams, and drying due to the less watery structure of the pulp.
