The variety is autochthonous to the Balearic Islands and is being studied as part of state programs for the conservation of local plant varieties under climate change conditions.

The fruits have green skin and yellow pulp. The average fruit weight is approximately 57 grams. The variety can be classified as early-ripening, although ripening times are highly dependent on climatic conditions and cultivation methods.

The variety is grown primarily by collectors as part of cultural heritage. Detailed agronomic data on disease resistance or yield are absent in open publications.
