Variety description

10 August 2026

The variety is double-cropping. The first crop forms abundantly and develops without the intervention of pollinators, with ripening occurring in the second half of June. Obtaining the main crop requires caprification using wild fig.

The variety is the result of folk selection and has been grown for centuries in the region of the eastern Adriatic coast. It has many synonyms, including Dvojelika, Petrovka and Mletkinja. The primary purpose of the fruits is for fresh consumption.
