The variety belongs to the San Pedro type, characterized by the formation of two crops: the first (breba) on previous year's wood and the main one on the current year's growth. Breba maturation occurs in the period from the last ten days of June to the beginning of July.
Morphologically, the fruit is characterized by skin of medium consistency, green in color with characteristic purple stripes-ribs. The variety has the synonym Tres Fan Carga and originates from the Catalonia region; it is currently included in gene bank collections for the conservation of biodiversity.
