The Škofioti variety, also known by the synonyms Škofjotarca, Ognifolio, Verdoni, and Bela petrovka, is distributed in the coastal regions of Slovenia and Croatia. The tree is characterized by very vigorous growth and forms a large, rounded crown.

The plant belongs to the biferous type. The first crop of fruits is abundant, characterized by a large size and early ripening period in late June and July. The second crop is less abundant, and the fruits are smaller and sensitive to rain.

The leaves are of medium size, predominantly three-lobed with distinct lobes. The leaf base is cordate-truncate; the leaf margin is uneven, wavy, and serrated.
