The variety is bifere and produces two crops. The first crop (breba) ripens from July, fruits are pear-shaped or elongated with a weight of 55–80 g. The second crop ripens from September to November, fruits are round, with a weight of 35–45 g, dark purple or black in color with a "smoky" bloom.

The plant is vigorous, reaching a height of 3–5 meters, has an upright or spreading growth habit. The fruit pulp is red, juicy, with a distinct aroma. The variety is self-fertile, resistant to fruit cracking under high humidity and withstands frosts down to -16 °C.
