Fittonia Pink Forest Flame is a bred variety of ornamental foliage plant from the Acanthaceae family. It is a low-growing creeping plant with branching shoots, forming a compact lush mat up to 30 cm in height.
The leaf blades are oval-shaped, with a satin surface and slightly wavy or serrated edges; their size ranges from 4 to 7 cm. The main deep dark green leaf background is combined with a dense network of bright pink or crimson veins, which creates a visual effect of a pink coloration.
The variety is intended for indoor floriculture. Due to its moisture-loving nature and compact size, it is suitable for placement in bottle gardens, terrariums, and florariums. The plant is sensitive to soil drying, drafts, and sudden temperature changes.
