The Raindrop variety is a product of breeding within the Fittonia albivenis species. The plant possesses a compact groundcover habit, typical for this genus, the height of which varies from 5 to 30 cm depending on growing conditions.

The plant is intended for ornamental use in interiors, as well as for creating closed plant compositions, such as terrariums or florariums. Fittonia leaves are distinguished by a soft, velvety texture and a pronounced network of veins.
