The plant is compact and low-growing; under indoor conditions, the stems typically reach a height of 10–15 cm. The variety was obtained as a result of a natural mutation of the «Red» variety.

The leaf blades have a dark green color and characteristic prominent veins of a red shade. Due to its miniature size, the variety is often grown in small pots or terrariums.
