The plant is a low-growing ornamental species reaching a height of 5 to 10 cm. The leaves are elongated in shape with a pointed tip and a glossy surface.

A characteristic feature is the contrasting mosaic pattern of white or light-colored veins located on the dark green background of the leaf blade. The crop is intended exclusively for indoor floriculture and keeping in terrariums and florariums.
